Vessel is restricted from passenger carriage until remaining items of rigging survey are completed and all standing and running rigging is installed and verified operational and applicable approved repair plans are subsequently repaired to the satisfaction of OCMISECMDNCR. Vessel is authorized to transit from CBMM in St. Michael's Maryland to her home moorings in Alexanderia, [name withheld] MOTOR POWER ONLY. -Provide a repair plan that addresses items identified in rigging survey requiring repair or replacement in way of both standing and running rigging. -Submit plan for mast replacement to include the mast step and strongback. -Provide a repair proposal to address the Balsa Cored banding surrounding the fiberglass hullin regard to the support, interaction with the rigging and hull structure to OCMI for approval. Reference: See CBMM Hull assessment dtd 5/29/25 -Provide a full rigging and maintenance plan to cover the maintenance and overall vessel operation going forward for future use.

Vessel is restricted from passenger carriage or operation until items in RED on rigging survey are approved for repair and subsequently repaired to the satisfaction of [name withheld] for repair or alteration. (a)Repairs or alterations to the hull, machinery, or equipment that effect safety of the vessel must not be made without the approval of the cognizant Officer in Charge Marine Inspection (OCMI) except during emergency. 6MAR2025: Vessel notified [name withheld] that the vessel is in process of having repairs done to vessel at CBMM and in conjunction to that the vessel had a third party rigging survey conducted. 19MAR2025: rigging survey was provided to OCMI and reviewed. Significant items were identified that require immediate attention.These items are significant, - The strong back is showing signs of rot and waste. (it is compressing under load of mast. Rot at base of mast and in the partners require replacement. - Crossjacks, Crossjack tie, Crane Truss, doubling cap, Poor function, rot , parting / separation at hounds. *Provide a repair plan that addresses ALL items identified in RED on rigging survey and any YELLOW or GREEN items that will be required to be repaired/ modified or removed to effect any RED repairs to OCMI for approval. Provide a full rigging and maintenance plan to cover the remaining identified items of the rigging survey and a updated plan to maintain the rigging and vessel overall going forward in the future.

Permission for repairs and alterations. (a) Repairs or alterations to the hull, machinery, or equipment that affect the safety of the vessel must not be made without the approval of the cognizant OCMI, except during an emergency. Operator notified OCMI that during winter down rigging for maintenance it was discoverd thsat there was rot within a 'check' in the bowsprit that was beyond wastage limits for repair. It was decided to replace the bowsprit. A new bowsprit is being fabricated and pending installation. Until the new bowsprit is fabricated, installed, along with the re-stepping of the mast and uprigging completed and readied for sea trial the vessel is NOT allowed to operate with passengers under sail. The vessel can operate under the route and conditions of the Certificate of Inspection (COI) with MACHINERY PROPULSION ONLY not more than 1 mile from shore. These conditions ae in effect until successful sea trial is witnessed by attending Marine Inspector(s) 46 CFR 176.700(a)

Vessel is required to have Lifejacket for each person on boar. COI permits 54 total persons of which 5 are crew. Vessel missing 6 Lifejackets. Vessel is limited to 43 passengers until applicable Lifejackets are on board. 46 CFR 180.71

Vessel is required to have applicable type & quantity of portable fire extinguishers. Vessel mising 1 4A-60:BC Provide applicable extinguisher. 46 CFR 176.810

Vessel is required to have on board two life rings with line and light attached when operating as an attraction vessel. Provide an additional Life Ring, with light and line attached prior to operation as attraction vessel. 46 CFR 180.70(b)

Water Cooling exhaust is to operate with water capability the entire length of pipe exhaust. SSDG exhaust bucket fiberglass housing leaking into engine space. Vessel is restricted from using SSDG until repairs completed. 46 CFR 182.430

Double hose clamping is required where practicable. Length of flexible hose on STBD side of main engine observed missing clamp. 46 CFR 182.410(d)(1)

An exposed hazard, such as rotating machinery, must be properly protected by a cover or guard. MI observed belt on aft end of main engine cutting into exhaust lagging. 46 CFR 177.960

The construction and arrangement of a vessel must allow for safe operation and consideration to protect against fire. Generator exhaust fuel hose was observed being supported by line hanging from PORT fuel piping. 46 CFR 177.100

Sea trials must be completed to ensure propulsion/steering is operating properly.

Vessel needs to get underway and conduct all 3 emergency drills with CG Inspector.

Vessel must have certain items in the sail and rigging removed from the vessel, as stated on their Stability Letter.
