Each life float must be fitted with a light. Light is inoperable.

On a vessel of at least 26 feet, a visual and audible alarm must be provided at the operating station. Visual for E/R high water alarm is inoperable.

A visual indicator must be provided at the operating station to indicate when any automatic bilge pump is operating. E/R bilge pump indicator is inoperable.

No marine employer shall engage or employ any individual to serve as a crewmember unless the individual passes a chemical test. Provided proof on enrollment for crewmember in question.

The master and crew of a vessel will be familiar with the content of and have mounted at the operating station, emergency instructions. Instructions are not up-to-date.

Remote fuel shutoff station must be marked in clear legible letters at least 1 inch high. Marking is only about 1/2 inch in hight.

A person may not employ or engage an individual in a position required to hold an MMC unless that individual maintains a current medical certificate. Owner's medical certificate is expired. Cannot engage in a position that requires an MMC.

Except as noted in paragraph (c) of this section, stations in the maritime service must be licensed by the FCC either individually or by fleet. Station License missing. Vessel restricted to not more than 1000 feet from shore. 47 CFR 80.13

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date: U.S. Coast Pilot [name withheld] List, Tide tables, Current Tables. Extracts from the publications may be provided. Publications outdated or missing.

A vessel must carry either a first-aid kit approved under 160.041 or a kit with equivalent content. Content expired or missing. Burn gel, ointment, ammonia inhalant etc.

The discharge ends of fuel tank vents must be fitted with removable flame screen or flame arresters. The screen must consist of a single corrosion resistant wire of at least 30x30 mesh. Screen missing.

At each inspection for certification and at every other vessel inspection all observed unsafe practices, fire hazards, and other hazardous situations must be corrected. Marine employer failed to produce evidence of a satisfactory drug and alcohol program/policy, marine employer failed to direct required drug testing with in time requirements due to a SMI. Marine employer failed to produce a current roster of employees enrolled in the required alcohol and drug testing program. Vessel was found operating, with paying passengers onboard without a credentialed master onboard. Vessel is restricted from carrying passengers until; 1. Marine employer can produce satisfactory evidence of a satisfactory drug and alcohol program. 2. Marine employer can produce a current roster of employees enrolled in the drug testing program. 3. Vessel receives a satisfactory additional in-service inspection by an attending CG marine inspector.

A vessel on which a pre-engineered system is installed must have the following: A means to reset devices used to automatically shut down engines.

The owner or a qualified servicing facility as applicable must conduct the following inspections and tests: Portable extinguishers must be inspected and maintained IAW NFPA 10. Extinguishers and fixed firefighting system have not been serviced in over a year.

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date: Charts, U.S. Coast Guard Coast Pilot, Tides tables, and Currents tables. Pubs not up-to-date.
