If during the inspection of a vessel, the vessel or its equipment is found not to conform to the requirements of law or the regulations in this subchapter, the marine inspector will point out deficiencies observed and discuss all requirements with the owner, managing operator, or a representative thereof. During the course of the annual inspection, the marine inspector noticed an estimate 10" crack in the watertight bulkhead separating the engine space to the rudder room. Vessel shall have the crack repaired prior to departing to the satisfaction of the local OCMI, using NVIC 7-68 as a guide.

During a review of the vessel records for the year of 2025, only two drills for a fire and man overboard were performed on 02JAN25 and 05/16/2025, with no abandon ship drills recorded. Vessel shall perform all required drill and training before departure and company shall supply the records of training and drills
& a plan to the local OCMI to ensure future compliance.
