Fixed fire extinguishing systems must be checked as noted in Table 71.25-20(a)(2). During the annual inspection of the fixed CO2 system (04) flexible connections were identified with damage caused by twisting the hoses and/or damage to the factory connection. Renew the four damaged hoses identified and submit documentation attesting to their renewal prior to carrying passengers.

During the annual test of the fixed CO2 system the timer delay activated at 24 seconds on the bench test and over 1 minute 15 seconds during the functional test. Owner shall submit sufficient documentation from the operating manual of the CO2 system or another acceptable source attesting to the rated setting of the timer delay and any information outlining override capability of the system that is available to deliver agent on demand.
