Nonmetallic flexible hose must have factory-assembled end fittings requiring no further adjustment or field attachable fittings. Hose end fittings must comply with SAE J1475. flex hoses in pressure side of electric fire pump do not meet subchapter F requirements for hoses for factory assembled end fittings and are not exempted by the less than five PSI rule in 46 CFR 182.720 (e) (3) (v).
