28JUL09 - Attended subject barge at Capital Fleet, Baton Rouge to inspect damage in way of the starboard transition knuckle, bow rake, 10' forward of collision bulkhead, at the 5' draft mark. Damage was approx. 2" long fracture, 1/16th of an inch in width. Shingles and epoxy were used to stop the leak. CG-835 issued to proceed to Triangle Fleet (MM 728), Memphis, TN.
