FURY

The owner or managing operator shall make a vessel available for drydock examinations and internal structural examinations as required. If your vessel is not operated on international voyages and does not meet the conditions in paragraph (d) of this section, it must undergo a drydock and internal structural examination as follows unless it has been approved to undergo an underwater survey (UWILD) per § 176.615 of this part: A vessel that is exposed to salt water more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a drydock examination and an internal structural at least once every two years. The FURY was due for drydock examination no later than June 30, 2023. The vessel must undergo a credit drydock examination to the satisfaction of the USCG prior to carrying passengers for hire. 46CFR 176.600(a) 46CFR 176.600(c)(1)

Replace ring buoy.

Provide current first aid kit.

Post current COI.

Properly label emergency escape hatch.

Properly label emergency fuel shut-off valve.

Identify all chain plate bolts with visual corrosion, Remove, Inspect and replace as necessary.

Provide valid first aid kit.

Provide sail rigging mainenance plan and log book.

Provide the following navigational safety items: Light List, Coast Pilot [name withheld] and current tide tables.

Provide means of securing engine room ventilation.

Certify to the OCMI, in writing, that the vessel complies with stability criteria based on the new Assumed Average Weight Per Person (AAWPP) of 185 pounds or another weight approved by the OCMI.

VESSEL IS RESTRICTED TO NOT MORE THAN ONE THOUSAND (1000) FEET FROM SHORE UNTIL A VALID FCC SAFETY RADIOTELEPHONY CERTIFICATE IS PROVIDED.

PROVIDE 2008 REED'S ALMANAC FOR THE CARIBBEAN.

PROVIDE HORN FOR VESSEL THAT MEETS 33 CFR PART 86.

PRIOR TO CARRYING PASSENGERS WITHIN PUERTO RICO WATERS, PROVIDE CURRENT MARINE CHART FOR PUERTO RICO.

Provide 2005 Reed's Almanac for the Caribbean area.

Renew items in First Aid kit.

Provide one B II fire extinguisher required in the aft compartment of the vessel.

Replace retro tape on two adult lifejackets. Until retro tape is replaced vessel may only carry 24 total passengers.

Repair and prove proper operation of navigation lights. Until proper operation is proven, emergency means may be utilized.

Provide 2004 Reed's Almanac for the Caribbean.

Provide new navigation chart for local waters of ST. Thomas, USVI.

Systematically renew all opening ports throughout the vessel.

INSTALL LIFERING LIGHT TO LIFERING WITH CORROSION RESISTANT DETACHABLE CLIPNO LATER THAN 30NOV00.

RENEW EPIRB HYDROSTATIC RELEASE MECHANISM NO LATER THAN 30NOV00.

INSTALL INDICATOR LIGHT AT OPERATING STATION FOR AUTOMATIC OPERATION OF THEBILGE PUMP NO LATER THAN 30NOV00.

INSTALL COVER ON STARTING BATTERY NO LATER THAN 30NOV00.

Provide three additional redhand or orange smoke hand flares.

Relabel the lifejackets with the new name of the vessel, "FURY."

INSTALL AN APPROVED FIXED FIRE-FIGHTING SYSTEM OR REQUEST AN EXEMPTION FROMTHIS REQUIREMENT.

Post a "[name withheld]" vest placard where visible to passengers and crew.

Post an emergency instruction list near the operating station.

Label lifejacket stowage areas with the type (child/adult) and number in the stowage space.

PROVIDE A TOTAL OF THREE (3) B-II FIRE EXTINGUISHERS.

PROPERLY SECURE THE PAINTER FOR THE BUOYANT APPARATUS TO THE MAIN DECK _x001C_ WITH A WEAK LINK. _x001C_

Provide stainless steel protective bowl for Racor diesel fuel filter located in engine room.

Remove or re-locate automatic float switch for bilge pump in engine room. Float switch may not be located at the bottom of the bilge in a machinery space.

Provide proper insulation on positive wire connector at battery switch located in engine room.
