The shutoff valve at the tank must be manually operable from outside the compartment in which the valve is located, preferably from an accessible position on the weather deck. If the handle to the shutoff valve at the tank is located inside the machinery space, it must be located so that the operator does not have to reach more than 300 millimeters (12 inches) into the machinery space and the valve handle must be shielded from flames by the same material the hull is constructed of, or some noncombustible material. Electric solenoid valves must not be used, unless used in addition to the manual valve. Shut off valve was located Approx. 2 1/2' into the compartment. Install a remote pull for the emergency fuel shutoff valve.

The Coast Guard will issue a medical certificate to a mariner meeting the medical and physical standards for merchant mariners. Vessel Master could not produce the medical license or documentation had been issued. Provide proof to the satisfaction of the attending Marine Inspector. 46 CFR 10.301

Vessel does not have their child and adult lifejackets stowage properly labeled with amount of each type. Properly label the stowage compartment with the proper amount of each lifejacket.

Provide life ring with 160.050 approval.

Provide annual servicing for main engine space fixed firefighting system.

Provide positive control through hull valve for raw water discharge.

Repair high water alarm in main engine space.

The vessel's total persons allowed has been reduced to 12 persons. This requirement is effective until you come into compliance with the requirements of the new stability regulations.

Replace cutlass bearing.
