MI observed that radios had an MMSI programmed that did not match FCC certificates. Vessel shall program correct MMSI number to the satisfaction of USCG Marine Inspector.

Monthly inspections required by NFPA 10 may be conducted by the owner, operator, person-in-charge, or a designated member of the crew. MI observed that monthly inspections were not being logged. Vessel shall provide proof of monthly inspections to USCG MARINE Inspector.

MI observed extra fire extinguisher in the pilot house that was not properly secured in stowage bracket. Fire extinguisher was removed.

The ground fault detection indicates 10 amps of current are flowing across ground when the vessel is connected to shore power. This is due to the neutral to ground on shore and neutral to ground on the vessel.

Provision must be made for closing all supply duct cowls or scoops and exhaust duct discharge openings for a space protected by a fixed gas extinguishing system. All closure devices must be readily available and mounted in the vicinity of the vent.
The engine room ventilation fire dampers on both the port and starboard side would not close completely and a 3" gap was observed when closed.

On a vessel of more then 19.8 (65 feet) in length, the minimum capacity of the fire ump must be 189 liters ( 50 gallons) per minute at a pressure of not less than 414 kPa (60 psi) at the pump outlet. The pump outlet must be fitted with a pressure gauge.
MI observed the pressure gauge at the fire pump inoperable. MI observed water from the fire hoses with adequate capacity.
