Resolution: Class report received verifying OWS was functioning properly. USCG PSCO attended the vessel and verified proper opertion of OWS.

During PSC exam, it was discovered that the vessel under went a main engine governor malfunction for unknown reasons. Vessel is to repair or replace the main engine governor prior to the vessel's departure from port to the satisfaction of the classification society.

Resolved 23 January 2009
Resolution: Sector received class, tech report stating that the governor was heavily varnished which resulted in the problems. Technicians overhailed govenor and reinstalled. Class attested to vessel.
