In main machinery spaces, all portions of such spaces must be capable of being reached by at least 2 streams of water. Both fire hoses leading to the machinery space are worn and have multiple leaks with no hydrostatic date indicated.

Technician was unable to conduct a loss of lube oil test that would result in a main engine shutdown.
