The arrangements for the storage, distribution, and utilization of oil used in pressure lubrication systems shall be such as to ensure the safety of the ship and persons on board. PSCO observed approximately one gallon of pooled oil underneath the #1 generator fly wheel, multiple small pooled oil spots throughout the containment on top of the main diesel engine, pooled oil and steady drip at a pipe connection on the fuel transfer unit near the oily water separator, and a containment bucket catching oil underneath the fuel oil service drain tank in the purifier room. 74SOLAS01 II-2/15.3
