Vessels bilges were found with accumulated oil below the reduction gear and shaft hull penetration.

Vessel may meet new T standards: rails with openings of not more than 4 inches in diameter; or bars,slats, rail courses, or an equivalent spaced at intervals of not more than 100 millimeters (4 inches). Vessels deck rail courses are currently at intervals estimated to be 10 inches. Provide plan prior to installation to Marine Inspector for the installation of rail courses that meet the standard listed above.
