Structural standards for an existing vessel must be such
that the vessel has been both in satisfactory service
insofar as structural adequacy is concerned and does not
cause the structure of the vessel to be questioned by
the [name withheld] to a recent marine casualty, the vessel's
structure has come into question due to further wastage
found throughout the hull. Vessel owner/operator has
shown historical record that vessel's original hull
thickness was at .25". Standards and good marine
practice find that a vessels scantlings become
unsatisfactory/deficient at or above 25% wastage.
Wastage was found well beyond 25% throughout the hull by
the owner/operator after most recent casualty. Vessel
owner operator must address all deficient (<25% wastage)
hull material and use good marine practice/techniques to
resolve wasted sections.

156-162 MHz band for the exchange of navigational
information. The radiotelephones must be capable of
transmitting and receiving on VHF FM channel 13 (156.65 MHz) while also maintaining a continuous listening watch on the International Distress and Calling Channel, VHF FM Channel 16 (156.800). Vessel does not have 2 FCC station licensed radios on board. Provide applicable and satisfactory radios with
corresponding station licenses.

bulkhead fractured/cut. Have forepeak surveyed and
repaired in kind prior to the vessel returning to
service in 2020. After scope of work has been
