1499-Other (Prop. & Aux. Machinery)- Every steam pipe and every fitting connected thereto through which steam may pass shall be so designed, constructed, and installed as to withstand the maximum working stresses to which it may be subjected. Vibrations on the number 2 generator caused a bolt to loosen, causing a steam leak close to the number 6 fuel oil pump cylinder referenced above. 74 SOLAS (01 CONS) II-1/ 33.1 10c
