THE SEA PAINTER WAS ATTACHED TO THE SHIP BY BYPASSING THE WEAK LINK, RENDERING THE LIFERAFTS TO NOT BE IN A FLOAT FREE ATTANGEMENT ON BOTH THE PORT AND STARBOARD LIFERAFTS.

0725 - Fixed Fire Fighting Installation - Fire fighting system shall be maintained ready for use. While conducting a deck walk the PSCO observed two pinholes that were one inch apart spraying water from the fire main between Cargo Hold #4 and #5. PSCO tapped on the area with an inspection hammer and the hole got bigger. Vessel needs to repair with class approval 74 SOLAS Con Ed. CH II Reg 14.1.1.
