Resolution: The crew welded a metal plate over the penetration restoring the class A fire boundary. DNV-GL and USCG attended vessel and found the repair satisfactory. Class Survey report was provided attesting to satisfactory repair.

Resolution: crew removed unapproved electrical source from receptacle leading to the refrigeration auxiliary panel and a permanent electrical connection has been made from the power unit to the electrical panel. Class DNV-GL attended to satisfactory repair.

One of the three fire suits on board is in need of repair. The reflective material for the protecting the fireman is peeling away from the suit, which will cause the person to become injured from excessive heat during a fire. Repairs or replacement must be to the satisfaction of class prior to the vessels return from an overseas port.

Resolution: Agent faxed Class documents of Class survey dated 01 OCT 07. Survey of safety equipment was conducted on 27 SEP 07.
