PSCO observed the aft port drain on teh number five cargo hold was missing a check valve.

Resolution: A technician from Electro-Tech, Inc. attended the vessel and found that the radar’s monitor had a bad power supply. The power supply was replaced and then the radar was tested and found to be in good working order.

Mixed garbage was found in various places on the vessel. The garbage plan has a specific color coding for the separation of garbage, which the crew is not following. In addition the containers are not all colored coded according to the plan. The electrical engineer needs to be designated as the person responsible for the collection and disposal of batteries and lamps.
