Marine Inspector observed excessive oil on windings of both generators. Prior to movement, vessel shall submit proof of repair and identification of cause via tech report to the satisfaction of the Coast Guard.

Each item of survival craft equipment must be of good quality, and efficient for the purpose it is intended to serve. Marine Inspector observed that the batteries used in the floating waterlights for all five of the vessel's bouyant apparatus were using batteries not approved by the lights' manufacturer. Replace with approved batteries within 14 days.
