Vessel was reported to VTS by SF Bar Pilots for failing to have proper paper charts for San Francisco Bay. At the time (0530 hrs local time on 13 Sep 2004), the vessel was transiting past Alcatraz Island enroute to Anchorage 9 with Pilot on board. Vessel arrived safely at Anchorage 9.

Resolution: Deficiency was corrected when the San Francisco Bar Pilots delivered proper scale charts for San Francisco Bay provided by Kerr Norton Strachan to the vessel while it was at Anchorage 9. The charts were Admiralty Charts 588, 591, and 592.
