No electrical equipment shall be installed in any space where flammable mixtures are liable to collect unless the Admininistration is satisfied that such equipment is appropriately certified safe for usage in areas where gases are likely to be encountered. Lifebuoys located at port and starboard LNG bunker stations is not intended for Hazardous Locations. Vessel authorized to use existing lifebuoy lights for 30 days, but must remove them from location while bunkering LNG. SOLAS 20 Chapter II-1, REg. 45.10.4

A survey of the stbd #6 ballast tank and the correlating port ballast tank shall be conducted by the USCG during next port call in the US (Long Beach, CA) to ensure continued structural integrity of the vessel has been maintained after permanent repairs were made.

Vessel reported a fracture in the hull IWO stbd #6 ballast tank. Vessel shall submit a proposal and affect permanent repairs of the stbd #6 ballast tank to the satisfaction of the attending marine surveyor. A failure analysis shall be conducted as well to identify causal stressors & structural failures that led to the hull fracture.
