No marine employer shall engage or employ any individual to serve as a crew member unless the individual passes a chemical test for dangerous drugs for that employer. Only the master was enrolled in the consortium. Enroll all members of the crew that hold a safety-sensitive position. The emergency instruction placard should contain at least the applicable portions of the “Emergency Instructions” listed in 46 CFR 185.512. Limited emergency instructions available for review. Each ship carrying more than 6 passengers for hire equipped with a radiotelephone station must carry a radio operator who meets the following (1) where the station power does not exceed 250 W carrier power or 1500 w peak envelope power, the radio operator must hold a marine radio operator permit or higher class license (2) where the station power exceeds 250 W carrier power or 1500 W peak envelope power, the radio operator must hold a general radiotelephone operator license or high class license.
