On a vessel of at least 26 feet in length, a visual and audible alarm must be provided at the operating station to indicate a high water level in a space with a through -hull fitting below the deepest load waterline, a machinery space bilge, bilge well, shaft alley bilge, or other spaces subject to flooding from the sea piping within the space, a space with a non-watertight closure, such as a space with non-watertight hatch on the main deck. The high water alarm in the aft steering compartment did not alarm when tested. Make necessary repairs of the high water alarm.

During the examination all accessible parts of the vessel's underwater body and all through hull fittings. MI was not able to see the R/W valve for the engine work properly.
