Any required high-expansion foam system shall be capable of rapidly discharging a quantity of foam forming liquid sufficient to produce a volume of foam equal to five times the largest space to be protected. PSCO observed that the expansion ratio of the high expansion foam onboard is 3.83:1 according to the most recent foam analysis report. In accordance with the low expansion foam analysis report, the low expansion foam was tested as per MSC.1/Circ. 670 which is for high expansion foam. 74SOLAS(01) II-2/9.1.1
