The condition of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the present regulations to ensure that the ship in all respects will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board. PSCO observed 5 foot by 3 foot puncture in Bosun Storage, Frame 111. Require damage assessment to include all adjacent compartments, tanks, and bulbous area for damage.

While retrieving the starboard side life boat, the first activation of the limit switch failed. On the second lowering, the limit switch operated only after the crew manually reset it.
