On 14May2019 received the report from the operations manager of East Island Excursions, that port side rudder hit the ground in shallow water and came free from the rudder shaft. The rudder was retrived and brougth to the shop in Puerto del Rey to effect repairs. Stbd rudder has a minor damage (the chipped off tip of the bottom corner)
Upon the inspections of the port rudder shaft on the ZATARA, the shaft was found in a good condition. The rudder was in the repair shop with the plan to split it open, clean and bond it back to the shaft. Significant pitting on both propellers was also found.
