The vessel's crew was not familiar with firefighting equipment and procedures and was unable to perform a satisfactory drill after several attempts. Vsl to demonstrate proper drill to USCG inspectors following receipt of a flag state rep(CCS) report endorsing the crew's ability to perform a satisfactory fire drill. Vsl may shift within the ports of LA/LB and conduct cargo ops

Resolution: CCS report was received attesting to the capability of the crew members to perform a satisfactory fire drill. Coast Guard inspectors witnessed a satisfactory drill, which cleared this deficiency.
