A vessel that is exposed to salt water not more than three months in any 12 month period since the last examination must undergo a drydock examination and an internal structural examination at least once every five years. Vessel was in drydock at Metal Shark Boats in Bayou La Batre, AL but departed before outstanding items were verified by marine inspectors. These outstanding items were:
1. Stern void port side has bag on bilge suction
2. Void 5 from the stern has a RoxBlox that is not watertight, also has a bag on bilge suction.
3. Void 16 found frame and two tripping brackets wasted.
4. Stitch welding of longitudinal frames in engine room
5. 1st frame forward of aft bulkhead inboard in the port machinery space not attached.
These items must be verified before DD/ISE credit can be given and deficiency cleared.

The cognizant OCMI may require that a vessel and its equipment undergo any additional test or inspection deemed reasonable and necessary to determine that the vessel and its equipment are suitable for the service in which they are to be employed. Vessel experienced a momentary loss of propulsion. Company is required to submit a report of findings and test of propulsion equipment, to the satisfaction on the Marine Inspector, prior to having any restrictions lifted. Written authorization of 835 clearance from local OCMI required prior to resuming operation.
