Inspection record

Last inspected 3 February 2026
…with no type recorded1
Operational controls None recorded without a removal date
Years with a record 11 calendar years (2016–2026)
Every line above is a count of records the US Coast Guard wrote, or a date it recorded. A blank resolution means none was recorded in this data; it does not establish that a deficiency is outstanding. Years with a record are calendar years in which a record exists, not years in service. What Maury does not do.

This hull's Official Number is not in the NVDC file dated 10 August 2026 as served by NOAA Fisheries, so no documentation record is shown. Absence from that file is a fact about the file, not about the hull.
Professional
The full record for this vessel

Behind this panel: 13 inspections, each with its date, unit and type; 9 deficiencies with the resolution recorded against each; operational controls, none recorded without a removal date; no tow-unit appearances recorded; no other recorded names; no NVDC documentation record for this Official Number. Every line is a record the Coast Guard wrote; the counts above are the same counts as in the summary, and they are free.

Vessel history report

A report is not offered for this hull. Its record holds only 2 of the seven kinds of material a report is built from: inspections, deficiencies, operational controls, tow-unit appearances, casualty records, dimensions and documentation. That is a statement about the record, not about the vessel. What a sparse-record report looks like.

. According to WI-07, the allowable leakage between sections is .25 psi and the .5 psi observed exceeds the allowable amount. Because the leak was minimal, only at one baffle and the exterior of the sponson is air tight I did not issue a no sail CG-835. Kaua’i has only one certified zodiac sponson repair facility and they are booked for quite some time. So, in lieu of preventing the vessel from operating they will be required to monitor for pressure leakage to see if it worsens and to ensure the exterior doesn’t begin to leak. They will have the sponson repaired in December.
Condition: Improper/Lack of Maintenance
Action required: 705 - Other - as specified
Due 29 December 2017
Resolved 9 February 2018
Resolution: Verified proper repairs were made to the tubes and conducted sat overpressure and leak tests.

Ownership record

The Coast Guard's documentation record for this hull -- the Abstract of Title, with its owners and liens as filed -- is not in PSIX. Ask, and Maury buys it from the National Vessel Documentation Center, files it here with its date, and every reader of this page gets it.
