Electrical installations on board a Small Passenger Vessel must be installed to protect passengers, crew, other persons, and the vessel from electrical hazards, including fire, caused by or originating in electrical equipment, and electrical shock in accordance with 46 CFR 183.200(b). The vessel has several dead end wires that previously supplied power to a windlass on the bow. Remove all dead end wires no longer in use.
