The emergency instruction placard should contain at least the applicable portions of the “Emergency Instructions” listed in § 185.512. Emergency instructions are insufficient. Create emergency instructions IAW 46CFR185.512. 46CFR185.510

Every vessel subject to Part III of Title III of the Communications Act must have a detailed inspection of the radio installation by an FCC-licensed technician in accordance with § 80.59 once every five years. The FCC-licensed technician must use the latest FCC Information Bulletin, How to Conduct an Inspection of a Small Passenger Vessel. If the ship passes the inspection, the technician will issue a Communications Act Safety Radiotelephony Certificate. FCC Radiotelephony Certificate expired. Provide valid FCC Radiotelephony Certificate to the USCG. 47CFR80.903

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date:(1) Charts of large enough scale to make safe navigation possible;(2) U.S. Coast Pilot or similar publication;(3) Coast Guard Light List;(4) Tide tables; and(5) Current tables, or a river current publication issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers or a river authority.(b) Extracts from the publications listed above for the areas to be transited may be provided instead of the complete publication. Coast Pilot and Tide & Current charts expired. Update navigation publications with current version. 46CFR184.420

All vessels must have navigation lights that are in compliance with the applicable sections of the International and Inland Navigation Rules, except that a vessel of more than 19.8 meters (65 feet) in length must also have navigation lights that meet UL 1104, “Standards for Marine Navigation Lights,” or other standard specified by the Commandant. All around 360 navigation light is non-functioning. Vessel is restricted to day time operations ONLY until corrected. 46CFR183.420

A vessel not required to have a power driven fire pump by § 181.300 must have at least three 9.5 liter (2 1/2 gallon) buckets, with an attached lanyard. 01 fire bucket does not have an attached lanyard. 46 CFR 181.610

Except as allowed by paragraph (d) of this section, each life jacket must be approved in accordance with either § 160.002, § 160.005, or § 160.055 in subchapter Q of this chapter, or other standard specified by the Commandant, including, but not limited to, approval series 160.155 or 160.176. 08 Adult lifejackets were not in serviceable condition. Vessel restricted to 43 persons until jackets replaced. 46 CFR 180.71

For vessels other than those covered in paragraphs (b) and (c) of this section, the name of the vessel must be marked on some clearly visible exterior part of the port and starboard bow and the stern of the vessel. The hailing port of the vessel must be marked on some clearly visible exterior part of the stern of the vessel. Vessel name is not marked on the bow. 46 CFR 67.123(a)

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up to date Light List, Tide Tables, and Coast Pilot [name withheld], Tide Tables, and Coast Pilot were out of date. 46 CFR 184.420

A vessel on an oceans, coastwise, limited coastwise, or Great Lakes route must carry - (1) Six hand red flare distress signals and (2) Six hand orange smoke distress signals, or 12 red hand flares. Only 08 red hand flares were onboard. Restricted to Lakes, Bays and Sounds only until rectified. 46 CFR 180.68

A vessel must be provided with bilge pumps in accordance with Table 182.520(a). Vessel does not have a portable bilge pump. 46 CFR 182.520

Remote fuel shutoff stations must be marked in clearly legible letters at least 25 millimeters (1 inch) high indicating purpose of the valve and direction of operation. Fuel shut off valves on both fuel tanks are not labeled. 46 CFR 185.608

Your vessel must undergo an annual inspection within the 03 months before or after each anniversary date. Vessel's annual inspection date was overdue on 01AUG2022. Vessel is not to carry passengers until a satisfactory annual inspection is completed.

Vessel EPIRB battery is expired. EPIRB location is not float free. EPIRB testing is not logged monthly. Outfit vessel with Sat. EPIRB that can float free and provide proof of monthly testing.

Provide onboard up to date Navigational chart, Light list and Tides and Currents, IAW 46 CFR 184.420.

Condemened 05 Adult Type I life jackets. Provide 05 adult Type I life jackets, vessel is restricted to 44 passengers, IAW 46 CFR 180.71(a).
