The Garbage Management Plan is not ship specific. The plan does not address procedures for disposing of expired medicine/hospital waste/batteries/light bulbs. The GMP does not give detailed information on proper segregation of garbage types. Furthermore, the GMP does not specify that plastic is allowed to be incinerated and the incinerator was found to be full of mixed garbage to include plastic.
