AFTER ANY SURVEY OF THE SHIP UNDER REGULATIONS 7, 8, 9 OR 10 HAS BEEN COMPLETED, NO CHANGE SHALL BE MADE IN THE STRUCTURAL ARRANGEMENTS, MACHINERY, EQUIPMENT AND OTHER ITEMS COVERED BY THE SURVEY, WITHOUT THE SANCTION OF ADMINISTRATION. BOTH PORT AND STARBOARD INFLATABLE LIFERAFTS PAINTER SYSTEMS ARRANGEMENTS WERE NOT STOWED IN ACCORDANCE WITH MANUFACTURER SPECIFICATIONS. 74 SOLAS(20) I/11(B)

Resolved 8 February 2024
Resolution: Vessel's crew corrected deficiency onboard the vessel during USCG inspection by adding a missing shackle in liferaft's hydrostatic release arrangement. This brought the liferaft back into compliance in accordance with manufacturer's guidance.
