Vessel was found with a cargo of "Jet Fuel" (JPT) with cargo tank levels in excess of 8% oxygen (approx. 11.9%). Vessel is to provide a flag state represenative survey attesting to the reliability of the ships inert gas system and crew safety management system procedures regarding the issue. 33 CFR 160.111

Action required: 17 - Rectify deficiencies prior to departure
Resolved 30 April 2007
Resolution: The Inert Gas Generator was inspected for proper operation. The system was observed in operation and found to be operating within manufacturers specifications. The system was maintaining the set pressure and O2 content was within proper range.
