BUCKET LIST

The owner of the vessel shall ensure that the vessel complies with the laws and regulations applicable to the vessel and that the vessel is otherwise satisfactory for the intended service. The following items will need to be addressed prior to the issuance of COI. 1) Provide drug/alcohol program documentation. 2) Post emergency instructions. 3) Provide charts and pubs. 4) Provide 01 child life jacket with proper marking. 5) Mark location of life jackets. 6) Provide 10-B:C fire extinguisher. 7) Provide life ring buoy light. 8) Repair E/R bilge pump visual indicator. 9) Repair anchor light. 10) Add hailing port to stern of vessel. 11) Repair pre-engineered system override. 12) Provide portable lights. 13) Provide logs for drills and EPRIB monthly checks. 14) Install port rail bolts. 15) Install ground on port fuel tank fill hose.

Any vessel of at least five net tons which engages in coastwise trade must have a Certificate of Documentation bearing a valid endorsement. COD is expired. Renew prior to COI inspection.

A vessel which, under 178.310 or this part, complies with the requirements in subchapter S of this chapter, must have stability details on a stability letter issued by the OCMI or MSC. Vessel replaced propulsion engines, but did not replace them in kind. Vessel is required to undergo a stability test prior to certification.

Found vessels life ring to be worn and line for waterlight too thick to be easily removed with installed clip. replace with approved and in servicable condition life ring and ensure light can be easily removed.

Found vessels life ring waterlight battery was not of the approved type (too heavy); replace with the approved type

First aid kit onboard found to have expired burn gel; replace with current burn gel.

Found two adult and one child life jacket to be worn beyond servicable condition. limited to ten adult and 1 child onboard until correct provision of lifejackets onboard is met.

Found split broken fiberglass in fwd void conencting the super structre/deck to the hull beam support; provide evidence that fiberglass is repaired.

Found vessel did not have current coast pilots onboard; provide evidence of current coast pilot onboard.

Vessel did not have radio station license onboard; provide evidence of station license being onboard and current.

Provide drug and alcohol program

Provide current COD.

Complete drills with CGMI.

Both fuel shut off valves are not working correctly, need repaired IAW 46CFR182.455

High water alarm light for engine room does not work, audible does. Repair IAW 46CFR182.530

Both auto switches for bilge pump lights do not come on at operating station. Repair IAW 46CFR182.530

Racor fuel filter needs plugged. IAW 46CFR182.455

FWD void hatch is loose and needs repaired IAW 46CFR176.800

FCC safety cert not on board, needs completed via FCC rep IAW 46CFR184.502
