PSCO observed that the bridge log book, record of rest hours, and shipboard working arrangement (watch schedule) were incongruent on the hours the 2nd and 3rd mate were standing watch. The log book indicates the two officers were on a port and starboard watch rotation for 7 days straight between 19 August and 26 August. Upon further questioning of the ships crew, multiple members revealed working longer hours than captured in the "record of hours of rest of seafarers".

Resolution: MSU Savannah received an email from NKK clearing the deficiency. NKK stated that both certificates were issued correctly and that cargos not authorized on the IMSBC Certificate must be refused.
