A vessel of more 26 feet in length, but not more than 65 feet, must carry a minimum of one life buoy of not less than 24 inches in diameter. Life ring is not serviceable. 46CFR180.70(a)(2)

Each battery used in an item of lifesaving equipment must be replaced during the annual inspection if the expiration date of the battery has passed. EPIRB battery is expired. 46CFR185.726(d)

Each EPIRB must be tested monthly, using the integrated test circuit and output indicator, to determine that it is operative. No test record available for inspection. 46CFR185.728(a)

A vessel must be provided with a satisfactory arrangement for draining any watertight compartment. Port and starboard engine room bilge pump automatic switches are inoperable. 46CFR182.500(a)

Each small battery installation must be protected from falling objects. Starboard engine room battery box lid is open. 46CFR183.354(b)

Abandon ship, man overboard, and fire fighting drills and training shall be logged or otherwise documented for review by the Coast Guard upon request. The drill entry shall include the date of the drill and training and a general description of the drill scenario and training topics. Employers must maintain records of chemical tests and must make these records available to Coast Guard officials upon request. The records shall be sufficient to identify the total number of individuals chemically tested annually for dangerous drugs in each of the categories of testing required by this part. Provide current list of all crew members assigned to safety sensitive positions enrolled in chemical testing. 46CFR16.260

As appropriate for the intended voyage, a vessel must carry adequate and up-to-date charts of large enough scale to make safe navigation possible. Provide chart. 46CFR184.420(a)(1)

A vessel must comply with the applicable requirements for any radio installations, including the requirements for installation certificates to be issued by the Federal Communications Commission, as set forth in 47 CFR part 80. Every vessel subject to Part III of Title III of the Communications Act must have a detailed inspection of the radio installation by an FCC-licensed technician in accordance with § 80.59 once every five years. If the ship passes the inspection, the technician will issue a Communications Act Safety Radiotelephony Certificate. Vessel's Communications Act Safety Radiotelephony Certificate does not reflect current call sign. 46CFR184.502, 47CFR80.903

All vessels must have the necessary navigation lights. The STERN and FWD Mast nav-light is not working. This must be corrected PRIOR to operating in restricted visibility or after sunset.

All machinery ventilation louvers must have the ability to be secured in the event of an emergency. The Port FWD machinery space louver does not secure all the way.

Electric submersible pumps must have the ability to operate automatically. The STBD machinery space auto-start float switch doesn't work.

All radiotelephones must contain the MMSI and integral GPS capabilities or must be connected to an electronic position-fixing device. VHF radios must have the MMSI programmed and linked to GPS.

The vessel must comply with the all applicable FCC Radio requirements. The Radio Safety Certificate and Station License are expired.

Temporary repair found on the starboard fuel vent. Make permanent repairs by next drydock.

Certificate of Documentation is expired. Renew COD prior to carrying passengers for hire.

Stern light was not operational. Vessel restricted to daylight ops and periods of good visibility.
