To stop the flow fuel in the event of a break in the fuel line, you must have a positive, remote fuel-shut-off valve fitted on any fuel line that supplies fuel directly to an engine or generator. It must be operable from a safe place outside the space where the valve is installed. Each remote valve control should be marked in clearly legible letters 1 inch high, indicating the purpose of the valve and the way to operate it. Fuel shut off within void does not have remote valve.
