Eng. Dept. rigged 2 55 gal. drums with flexible hose to catch cooling water leaking from the main engine cylinder heads 1 and 7. The purpose of this is to decant the contaminated water and re-introduce it to the cooling water system. All piping in the engine room must be of an approved type. The 2 open top drums represent a clear hazard to the safety of the crew and must be removed.
