07102-For tankers of 20,000 tonnes deadweight and upwards constructed on or after 1 July 2002 but before 1 January 2016, the protection of the cargo tanks shall be achieved by a fixed inert gas system in accordance with the requirements of the Fire Safety Systems Code. The system shall be capable of delivering inert gas with an oxygen content of not more than 5% by volume to the cargo tanks at any required rate of flow. PSCO observed the ships IG system unable to maintain the oxygen content below the required 5%. 74 SOLAS (14) II-2/4.5.5.1.1
