Above the bulkhead deck there shall be at least two means of escape from each main vertical zone or similarly restricted space or group of spaces at least one of which shall give access to a stairway forming a vertical escape. PSCOs observed an escape door that was jammed in the 3rd deck midship conference room space, called the "The Meeting Space" had a partition that served as an escape route that was wedged shut. 74 SOLAS 01 II-2/28.1.2
