Cargo pumps, ballast pumps and stripping pumps, installed in cargo pump-rooms and driven by shafts passing through pump-room bulkheads shall be itted with temperature sensing devices for bulkhead shaft glands, bearing and pump casings. due to non-availability of Marine Chemist, pump-room was not certified for entry and PSCO was unable to examine space.
