Chemical tankers which have been surveyed and certified with the provisions of the International Bulk Chemical Code as applicable shall be deemed to have complied with the provisions of the said regulation. The conditions of the ship and its equipment shall be maintained to conform with the provisions of the code will remain fit to proceed to sea without danger to the ship or persons on board or the environment. PSCO noted that the gas regulating valve for the inert gas system is not able to open and close automatically. Marpol II/7 & IBC Code (16) 1.5.3.1
