Clamps holding the adjustable dogs on site glass are fractured. There are 2 sides to the clamps holding the dogs in place. Top clamp has 1 fractured clamp. Aft clamp has both clamps fractured & fwd clamp found to be fully intact. Potential for oxygen to be introduced into IGS at an uncontrollable rate & cause an usafe condition. --Class approved temp repairs & gave 30 days to make perm repair.

Resolution: Class (LR) has attested to a 6.8 Kg CO2 portable extinguisher & fire blanket being in galley (to provide fire protection). Additionally, the #5 breaker switch in panel in galley is labeled with instructions to turn off in event of fire.

The load line on the port side is marked with previous class society initials (AB for ABS). Five years ago the vsl was reclassifed under Lloyd's Registery (LR). LR has given the vsl until next dry dock to make corrections to the permanently affixed class initials. However, until the next dry dock (2013) the vsl should maintain the painted symbols to reflect the correct symbol and information.
