Fire, abandon ship and man overboard drills and training shall be logged or otherwise documented for review by the Coast Guard upon request. Missing required drill entries from September 2024 to Feb 2025.

Each item of survival craft equipment must be of good quality, and efficient for the purpose it is intended to serve. The two life floats onboard have punctures, no working waterlights, missing paddles and not secured to the weak link. Vessel rep must use [name withheld] approved material to conduct repairs, add working water lights, provide paddles and secure line to the weaklinK IAW regulations. Vessel route is reduce to limited coastwise, no more than 3 nm from shore.

An adult life jacket must be provided for each person carried on board a vessel. 30 adult life jackets are unserviceable, vessel rep must fix with [name withheld] approved material or replace and reapply CG approved retro tape. Total persons allowed reduce from 53 to 23. Vessel rep must present serviceable life jackets to the attending marine inspector.

Each life float must be fitted with a lifeline, pendants, two paddles, a painter, and a light. For a life float - Approved under approval series 160.027. Each paddle must be of at least 1,220 millimeters (4 feet) in length, lashed to the life float to which it belongs and buoyant. Life floats and buoyant apparatus must not be stowed in tiers more than 1,220 millimeters (4 feet) high. When stowed in tiers, the separate units must be kept apart by spacers. The life float has small tears in the body which must be repaired IAW approved manufacturers [name withheld] material to OCMI satisfaction. The life float is not separated by spacers, must install spacers to meet the regulation. Vessel limited to not more than 3nm from shore.

Life float should be stowed in a way that any protective covers will not interfere with launching and embarkation; the life floats have a large protective cover restricting the floats from floating free.

An adult life jacket must be provided for each person carried onboard. Two adult life jackets were torn, OCMI. approved repair plan using manufacturer approved [name withheld] repair material. Reduced total persons to 51.

Where flexible nonmetallic hose is permitted for use in piping systems by this section, it must meet SAE J-1942 and Flexible nonmetallic hose must be complete with factory-assembled end fittings requiring no further adjustment of the fittings on the hose, or field attachable type fittings may be used. Hose end fittings must comply with SAE J-1475. Flexible nonmetallic hoses are not SAE J-1942 for generator fuel connections.

A visual indicator must be provided at the operating station to indicate when any automatic bilge pump is operating. Visual indicators are located behind the bar inside a wooden cabinet with a door not at the operating station.
