Dates are missing from the garbage log when items have been incinerated. The garbage plan is not ship specific. Mixed garbage was found in the containers in the engine room. The Master and C/O stated that only oily rags were being burned. We found plastic items, gasket material and 5, gallon metal cans. None of these items are listed in the garbage plan as approved for burning.
