Following installation of a BWMS, the master, owner, operator, agent, or person in charge of the vessel must maintain the BWMS in accordance with all manufacturer specifications. BWMS airline currently secured with safety wire, provide approved installation plan for BWMS.

Two valves on hydraulic suction lines in steering gear room had wire tied to handles that prevented valves from closing.
