0750 74Solas(2014)II-2/9.3.1 40a Where "A" class divisions penetrated, such shall be tested with fire test procedures code, shall be insulated by extension of insulation at same level of division. Multiple cable penetration packings shrunk revealing daylight in generator room, electrical distribution room and main control room. Packing of multiple packing transit held by tape in generator room.
Action required: 40 - Rectify deficiencies prior to next US port after sailing foreign

Resolution: Class surveyor (LR) attended the vessel at a port call in Taiwan on 10MAY17 attesting to the proper repair of the deficiency. All cable penatratoins in the A0 class fire boundries were packed with the equivlant material.

The No. 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, and 10 exhaust actuator cams were damaged. All were successfully renewed/repaired with the exception of the No. 1 and No. 7 cylinders, due to lack of available parts. With the No 1 and No. 7 cylinders still disconnected, this results in the Main Engine output being lowered by 40%. A Condition of Class has been imposed, with a due date of May 2016.
