Where pipes, scuppers, electrical cables etc. are carried through watertight subdivision bulkheads, arrangements shall be made to ensure the watertight integrity of the bulkheads. PSCO's discovered 04 electrical penetrations leading into the steering gear room from a watertight deck on the aft mooring deck that were not watertight. 74 SOLAS 04 consolidated Ch II-1/15

Resolution: Vessel refitted the watertight penetration with approved material to bring into appropriate service. Refit was approved by classification society.
