2120; The garbage was mixed throughout the vessel. The color coding and marking of containers as per the plan do not match the placards that are posted nor the cans. Food, paper and plastic were found mixed in the galley and at the storage locker aft which is the final collection point before disposing it at sea. Garbage needs to be addressed by Class or Flag Representative.

The #4, port and starboard tanks cargo tanks which have been designated as heavy weather ballast tanks need to be reported as well. The [name withheld] was using the sediment from incorrectly. He was not documenting sediment removal he was using them for the recording the exchange of ballast water.

0710; Hold back hooks and jury rigged lines for holding open "A0" and "B" type fire doors have been installed throughout the vessel. When some of the doors were released from the hooks or lines they failed to properly latch when closed.
